Dry Pack Canning

Sister Marie Gale as expressed an interest in gathering a group to do some dry pack canning. For those of you who are interested I’ve downloaded an order form from the LDS Home Storage Center and it will be on the blog site http://casseroledishes.blogspot.com/ under Provident Living. The Center now only carries two bulk food items: Wheat, Hard Red and Hard White. You might be interested also in the packaged items. I called a few weeks ago and was told that the prices are still the same—just that the number of bulk items has been reduced. The address is 10420 S.E. 82nd Avenue in Portland and they are only open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Marie has found a source of #10 cans and I have also put that information on the blogsite.
I saw the oxygen absorbers at Winco today 50 for $5.07.
