FREEZER MEALS NEEDED

Many of our sisters have special needs right now, and we would like to assist them by bringing some meals to them.  Our back-up supply is gone.  If you would like to contribute some freezer meals, go ahead and make them up and get them to Tracey Stinchfield.

One way to do this is to make an extra large batch when you are cooking for your family, and then wrap up the the extra portions.  We have to cook anyway, right?  Better yet, take a Saturday and make a few weeks of meals for your own family at the same time to have in your freezer!  My Mom and I used to do this once per month.  We'd shop on Friday afternoon, cook on Saturday, and then relax the rest of the month.  There are some amazing make ahead recipes out there.

Here is are a few websites that have recipes and tips for good freezer/make ahead meals.

This next site is one that is run by an artist friend of mine - I love it.
