Plan for August 14th. We'll meet at the Church at 10:15 AM or the base of the trail at Beacon Rock at 11 AM. Bring a windbreaker, backpack & water, lunch, good sturdy shoes as some of the trail is a bit rocky, and cameras if you want. Feel free to bring your children to this activity too. Nearby is the Columbia Gorge Interpretive Center where there are displays for a fee. For everyone interested, Rosemary is putting a list together and if we have a minimum of 10 people there is a group rate of $6.00/person (children under the age of 6 are free). They will also have demonstrations for us. They suggested giving yourself about an hour to see everything. They close at 5 PM.
