The First Presidency sent a message to the membership asking for prayers to be said on behalf of all of the families in our nation in need and mourning at this time.

Visiting Teaching: Please see your sisters before Christmas, taking the warmest wishes from the Relief Society Presidency. Be sure to ask if they need any help getting set up for indexing.
The Deseret Industries will only accept useful (not broken) items for donation. The majority of the budget is spent in dump fees for unusable items loaded into the trailers. Please also keep in mind that clothing is no longer washed once it is received, so it needs to arrived washed and ready to hang. Please be sure to tape boxes shut containing anything with small parts.
We are encouraged to donate 'local' - there are many shelters and programs in Washougal and Camas that can use blankets and other items. Pat Suggs and Gloria Batchelor are good resource for that.
