STAKE R.S. TEMPLE TRIP:
May 8 - 10:00 chapel session, 10:30 endowment session.
We had a combined R.S./Priesthood meeting yesterday. Our Ward Mission leader, Bro. Stinchfield, discussed the ward's mission statement and how we can share the gospel with others. The underlying point made was that the more that we know about the gospel, the more comfortable we are in sharing it. We were encouraged to pray every day for a missionary opportunity, watch for that opportunity, and then have enough Faith to share our testimonies in whatever way is appropriate to the situation.
When Bro. Stinchfield asked for all of the converts in the room to stand, 50% of those seated in the chapel stood up. What would we do without these wonderful brothers and sisters? Thankfully, someone had the courage to share the gospel with them at some time in their lives.
